Prejudice Much?

Long time since I actually blogged about something that is not exactly about me.
I would probably be labelled as bitch for doing this but, hey someone's gotta be the bitch aint it!

My "Indian" friend posted on facebook saying.

And there I was thinking "Wah, long time never go Indian Restaurant, always Mamak Shop," so today go Indian Restaurant and eat the usual stuff I eat at a Mamak shop : Rice+Vegetable+Fried Chicken....It cost me RM9.50 without the drinks!!!!! Oh, Now I know why I stop going to an Indian Restaurant....

So me being me, I said

Vanie Da Apocalypscus Oh c'mon man!!Dont be soo prejudice. It not necessarily had to be Indian restaurant that charges you that much! Pls la....I have been to a Malay restaurant that charges me rm5 for just sayur+rice+egg. I have been to a Chinese restaurant that charges 5rm for chicken rice. Why discriminate by race neway?? probably the owner of the Indian shop needs to cater for the rents and workmanships you know probably becuase he doesnt get enough money becuase people like you exists! Neway, just my opinion...cheers!!

To which some dude said, I am insensible becuase being racist and complaining about high price of the food is two different things. Also another person posted saying "indian food are so expensive"

To which my friend replied

Err...Dear Vanie, you think that Indian Restaurant is the 1st Indian Restaurant I'm going??? These are the facts!!! I can get a the same meal at a Chinese Restaurant/Mamak Shop (in the same row where this particular Indian Restaurant located) for RM4.50.... I ain't gonna change my statement...Indian Restaurants are far more expensive...

To which I laughed my ass off. The thing is rite, even in university he never used to be fond of indians (so was I). I dont blame, that fucking ass hole seniors made our lives a living hell. But you know, no matter how you act all 1Malaysia, your mentality clearly states otherwise.

Typical Indian mentality don't y'all think so. First of all, be it in the same row, or the same place, if you can prove to me they have the same square feet of space, same kind off tables, same kind off ambience (lighting, air cond ) and all then I might agree to what he said la right. There are so many other factors that contributes to the price of the food.

WHY do we have to discriminate based on the race? What none of us have ever had expensive food in other race's restaurants?There are some things that are distinct to our race like the "staring competition" which I dont mind if you comment on it, but this is just so prejudice.

Indian food are expensive.......pfffttt.....seriously dude.
Where were you when we were in KK?? Our hostel food cost about 5rm just for some rice+chicken+sayur which is not even nice but Lotus Banana Leaf food costs us rm6 with free flow of rice and vege plus ice water plus one plate of chicken. Oh, sorry I forgot, you were probably too busy critisizing Indians. LOL

Guys, seriously, change this mentality. When a guy speaks loudly in a restaurant dont come and post saying "OMG, the indian guy was speaking soo loudly in the restaurant" Pleeease la....It was just one person. Not only Indian people do this, and probably the other person on the line was having trouble hearing. Stop discriminating based on race.

BTW, it wouldnt be right if I posted based on the post above"Indians are cheap" would it? Becuase most of them are not.

I am not trying to provoke, or start a cyber war, but seriously have some dignity, get your facts rite before posting understatements such as "Indian foods are more expensive". Consider keeping you thoughts to yourself mate. Might help!
